We will become the biggest biggest Goblin Empire ever in Fantasy-History.

RPG Writer Competitions

$GBLN as a Reward for Goblin-Adventure Author Competitions

In the 80s and 90ies, fantasy was still really classic high fantasy: monsters were evil and heroes fought for good.
At some point in the late 90ies, the boundaries began to blur, with vampires, lizardmen and goblins now also serving as player roles. All of these classic monsters were therefore no longer evil, but were merely considered alternative life forms in competition with the human view of life. Adventures suddenly revolved around beloved dragons threatened by dark knights.

Return to the Classics

As a narrative method, it can be quite exciting to break up clichés and reverse good and evil for once. But if this becomes the standard, then the whole world view changes. Classic high fantasy in the style of Lord of the Rings or the Forgotten Realms on Faerun thrives on clear stereotypes that make the game easy and relaxing for everyone. Of course, there are still many fantasy worlds in which the goblins are still nasty goblins, but you can’t shake off the impression that the focus on the classic fantasy mythos has been lost somewhat.

Promotion of Classic Goblin Adventure Culture

The $GBLN community of this website wants to use some of the coins as rewards for competitions that deal with classically evil, deceitful goblins that can multiply en masse and suddenly form gigantic empires that threaten peaceful peoples.

So that there is no misunderstanding: Even if we love the $GBLN goblins here and become CRYPTOGOBLINS ourselves, the goblins in the (Pen & Paper) Fantasy-Stories must be destroyed and driven away in the competitive adventures.

Support Youth Work Projects & Young Authors

The Goblintoken community of this website consists of long-time pen & paper roleplayers and patrons of the board game scene. Outside of Cryptospace, this community is also active in youth work, where the aim is for kids and young people to play pen & paper role-playing games together at the meeting table instead of being lonely at home in front of their game consoles.

Prize money for author competitions

The Goblintoken Community has no actual seed money for the promotion of adventure authors, but hopes for a commercial success of $GBLN, so that with a x100 moonshot the cryptobag full of GBLN coins will become a great fortune.

Then it will be possible in the future to reward adventure authors with $1000 or even $5000 for their works.

Of course, this is a utopia, but we believe in fantasy, which is why we love fantasy worlds. Together we can make them real.

Public Wallet for Competition Prizes

You can check the status of the GBLN purse for the promotion of classic goblin culture here at any time. The starting capital was only around $100, but it is hoped that the unstoppable power of the largest goblin empire ever seen in fantasy history will turn this treasure trove into legendary wealth.
